We all have bad days, but is there such thing as a bad month?
People in the past believed Safar to be a cursed month, where bad things would happen, so they moved this month back and forth. The Prophet ﷺ refuted this by saying “There is no such thing as the month of Safar.” In fact, he ﷺ said “If there is any bad luck in anything, it is in what lies between the lips, i.e. the tongue. It’s encouraged to increase in good deeds such as dhikr and giving Sadaqah in the final week of the Month of Safar in order to extinguish calamities for the year ahead.
