The Divine call beckons and resonates in our hearts which hark back to the moment when we were included in the dua of Sahib Sanilurfa sayyiduna Ibrahim AS who prayed : Let Them Come to Your House from Every Deep Ravine for we pray that we are from those who responded Labbayk to the Divine Call. Together we yearn to be in the presence of the Beloved where hearts melt and eyes flow and the heads bow in the presence of our Master Prophet ﷺ

Our Wayfarers retreats are journeys that have been imbued with instilling this love in our hearts of Allah and the Prophet ﷺ. How we started from the Maqam of the Shoe Keeper of the Prophet ﷺ - Our Leigelird Abu Ayyub al-Ansari ra, Then Lover of the Prophet Imam Jala al-Deen Balkhi al-Rumi ra; then The Birth place of our Patriarch Ibrahim AS and then the Place of the Surah which Starts with one of the names of Our Prophet ﷺ -Ya Seen - Antakya its end was written for it to lead us to the road to our Beloved, the Master of the Prophets, Prophet Taha ﷺ

The journey to Allah does not have an end, it's li

The journey to Allah does not have an end, it's like a circular road, it takes you back to where you started. Just like the moon is first born then it grows until it looks like a complete circle. Then it wanes and begins a new cycle. The journey to Allah never stops. In each stage of your life, you continues to journey to Allah in some capacity.

After Ramdahan, a believer may become less occupied with journeying to Allah, but we must make use of free time to restart the journey. The Prophet ﷺ "Take benefit of 5 before 5. Your youth before your old age, your health before sickness, your wealth before your poverty, your free time before your preoccupation and your life before your death.

End this month and start a new one by praying to Allah to forgive your sins, flaws and shortcomings. Pray to Him to reward you out of His mercy and grace, not because of your worship. Restart your journey to Allah after Ramdhan by putting your hope in Him.

In 23 years the Prophet's ﷺ conveyed Allah's me

In 23 years the Prophet's ﷺ conveyed Allah's message to the world and changed the course of human history until the day of judgement. The prophet' ﷺ life was a blessed life that brought about much good and success to everyone.

Musab bin Umayr RA passed away in his thirties but served the cause of dawah in Medina before the Prophet's ﷺ immigration. Abu Bakr as Sideeq RA ruled the muslims for only 3 years but he founded a strong state. Many Imams passed away in their fifties but left behind donzens of influential books and thousands of students.

Because Allah knows we are far behind these people, He placed His blessing in certain times. For eg the Night of Power, the blessed Friday, the hour before dawn. The early hours of the day are blessed by Allah in which anything you do, be it work, worship or sport will be blessed. When something is done with pure sincerity for Allah, it will certainly be blessed. A sincere life is a blessed life.

The Prophet ﷺ said, "He who has in his heart t

The Prophet ﷺ said, "He who has in his heart the weight of a mustard seed of arrogance will not enter Paradise." A companion said, "But a man likes to wear nice clothes. He said, "This is not arrogance. Arrogance is denying the truth and injustice to people."

The characteristics of a humbles person are that he pardons people, consults people, feel that he needs their advice and prayers for him. If one feels he does not need to learn because he knows and understands everything is not humble, rather he is arrogant.

The Prophet's ﷺ humbleness can be seen at the battle of Badr when he wanted ro camp in a certain place. One of the companions adviced that this is not the most strategic place to camp. The Prophet ﷺ accepted his advice.

How does one reach the feeling of humbleness? By considering faith. Someone may be cleary inferior in terms of position or wealth, however as faith is the critera for status, perhaps he is much closer to Allah than others. Perhaps he is afflicted with such trials in this life and is patiently and wisely enduring them for the sake of Allah. He could very well be better than others in the sight of Allah.

Allah may give a believer just enough, not more or

Allah may give a believer just enough, not more or less. When this happens, it is a perfect blessing from Allah. If Allah gives abundantly to a person, then there is a risk of that peson transgressing boundaries. Allah knows from His infinite knowledge that if He gives a certain person wealth, that person will not do wrong .Or if He gives him power, he will do injustice to people, so Allah does not grant him power. This applies to different kinds of giving and depriving. Whatever you have been given is from Allah's bounties and He is protecting you, even from yourself. So do not look only at what you are deprived of and wish to get something that might cause you to do wrong. It is out of Allah's blessing that he gives you just enough. If you have enough food, drink and providence, this is a perfect blessing from Allah and you should thank Him for that. Allah has a perfect wisdom in giving and depriving. He wants the best for you, be satisfied with that.

Every believer has a responsibility to call people

Every believer has a responsibility to call people to their Creator and to remind them of their Lord whether it's colleagues at work, neighbours, family or even children. When informing people about their Lord, there is a certian type of speech that has an influence on people. This speech is not the fluent speech that comes from an intelliegent mind or an elequent tongue, rather a speech that comes from a pure heart. When you have a sincere intention in your heart, your influence on people will be stronger.

Many Prophets and Companions gave elequoent speeches that not only influenced the audience but changed the course of history. Uthma bin Affan RA said- "O people you need a ruler who is a good doer not a ruler who is a good speaker." With a pure heart, people will understand your words and comprehend your gestures.

One may follow the Prophetic way of life in his

One may follow the Prophetic way of life in his ﷺ way of dressing, his ﷺ outward appearance, his ﷺ way of sitting etc, yet they mistreat their parents, earn wealth through corruption, or curse and backbite against people. In other words they fulfill the outward but miss the obligatory. Or one may not perform the obligatory prayer but perform the Eid prayer under the most difficult circumstances, even though it is optional. Or commit grave sins in public but are in the habit of performing umrah every year. Performing optional good deeds while being careless with the obligations of your faith, is a sign of following your desires, not the right path.

When a bedoin came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "I will not perform any optional deed nor will I decrease what Allah has enjoined on me." The Prophet said, "You will succeed and will be granted paradise."

If we are sincere with Allah in performing the obligations without ever performing the optional deeds, we will succeed and be granted Paradise.

A believers condition should vary between hope and fear so that he becomes like a bird with two wings; one for hope and the other for fear. Strike a balance between hope and fear so the bird can fly; it cannot fly with one wing.

But Sometimes our sins and forgetfulness blocks our way to God and we do not find an overwhelming longing for Him. How can we increase our hope and fear of Allah if we do not feel this in our heart? By calculating the bounties that Allah has given you to increase your hope in Him, such as His generosity, mercy and Patience. And when you remember your shortconings and deficiencies in your worship, then fear of Allah will be opened in your heart.
