Ustadhah Farhat (Guest Teacher)

Ustadha Farhat first attended and studied for her Allimmiyah Studies at the Jameah al-Kauther Institute in Lancaster, and thereafter at Jamea al-Uloom in Leicester. As a result she has a firm grounding in the Islamic Sciences, specifically in Qur'anic Tafsir, Ahadith, Usool al-Fiqh, Fiqh, Aqidah, and Arabic Language.

Having had an extensive decade long experience with the Arabic Language, Ustadha Farhat took to specialising in the art of Arabic/ Islamic Calligraphy under the tutelage of the esteemed Molana Suleiman. She has since produced many iconic pieces that have been auctioned in charity events and at universities. Ustadah Farhat has taught Calligraphy privately, as well as at various institutions.

From amongst her notable achievements is having organised an art consortium for elite artists from around the country; where professional pieces of art were brought together and auctioned to raise a significant amount for the needy.

At present, Ustadah Farhat teaches Arabic Calligraphy to children of various ages at Darul Arqam Educational Trust, and she also conducts private calligraphy classes for Muslim women from around the city.
