Ustadhah Sharifah al Maqbouly


Ustadhah Sayyidah Sharifa al-Maqbouly is a descendent of the family of the Prophet (saw) from both sides of her family.

Her initial training in the Islamic sciences began at a very early age, under the guidance of her esteemed father and mother. She later went on to study the Islamic Sciences from the foremost leading scholar of Singapore Shaykh Haji Muhammad ibn Ali. By the age of eleven Sayyidah Sharifa had been trained in HIfz al-Quran, Aqidah, Fiqh and Tassauwuff. She then on to study Tafsir and Hadith under the tutelage of Shaykh Doctor Abdullah Yasin of Sudan.

Sayyidah Sharifa, currently conducts classes on the subject of Prophetic Character at Darul Arqam Educational Trust, as well as at the Jamia al-Karam Darul Uloom for girls in Nottinghamshire. Moreover, Sayyidah conducts private one-to-one Quran tuition classes, and provides help and support to those who are new to Islam.
